Remarketing is a form of online advertisement that reaches users who have not made a conversion after the visit. Remarketing is behavioral marketing that aims to intercept visitors who are interested in the brand or service, but who have not yet made the purchase.

How does it work?

When a user visits your site, the browser being used receives an anonymous cookie, which, in future visits, will be necessary to identify him.
When the user browses, this cookie will allow your remarketing service provider to recognize that the user has visited the site, and therefore to display targeted advertisements in the appropriate spaces (on other websites).

The effectiveness of remarketing is given by the fact that advertising is directed towards users who know the brand and the sponsored products. In fact, before viewing the ads, they visited the website and, perhaps, saw a particular article or category.
